CAWTAR, several meetings for “Young Women and Political Participation in Tunisia: informal mobilization 620 330 Euro Mediter

A validation workshop will be held 18 May, 2012 in Tunis with the aim to present, discuss and evaluate the primary results of the study “Young Women and Political Participation in Tunisia: informal mobilization and institutional participation pacing the way for future actions” funded by the Canadian IDRC (International Development Research Center).
In the framework of the same project, some coordination meetings will be held 1-2 June 2012 in Tunis. It is organised in the framework of CAWTAR .
At last, on 23 November 2012 CAWTAR will launch in Tunis the press conference to present the research “Young Women and Political Participation in Tunisia: informal mobilization and institutional participation pacing the way for future actions“. A diversified group of people interested in women’s political participation will be invited to the press conference.

CAWTAR, which is a founder partner of Mediter network, was created on March 7, 1993, in response to the request of a number of Arab governments and civil society organizations and institutions. CAWTAR is committed to the empowerment of women based on human rights and gender principles.
