European Union provides €78 million to support Jordan for employment and social inclusion

The EU is providing a €78 million package to support Jordan with developing skills for employment and social inclusion, promoting green technologies, innovation and economic development in the Governorates most affected by the Syria crisis, and enhancing public education for displaced Syrian children.
The total amount is split in €52 million programme “Budget Support Skills for Employment and Social Inclusion” to develop the relationship between skills and labour market needs under the Employment, Technical and Vocational Education and Training system.
€13.5 million are available to support innovation and economic development in the Governorates most affected by the Syria crisis.
