Ministers reaffirm EU commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in development action 620 330 Euro Mediter

Gender equality should be at the heart of the EU’s rights-based approach to development cooperation, EU Foreign Affairs Ministers gathering in Brussels for a Council meeting on Development have said on 19th May 2014, welcoming the latest report on the implementation of the EU Action Plan on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Development 2010-2015 (GAP), covering the period from July 2012 to June 2013.
